Rick Daskin, CFA, CFP®

Richard Daskin is the firm’s President and Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Daskin has a BA in Economics from the University at Albany and has done additional graduate work in Finance and Economics at New York University. Mr. Daskin has held various positions at money managers and Wall Street firms.

He started his career as a credit research analyst at US Trust Company of New York, and he was a trader and portfolio manager at an investment subsidiary of Chemical Bank. For the next 20 years he traded and sold bonds at Lazard Frères, Alex. Brown & Sons, DLJ, and First Albany Corp. Mr. Daskin then worked in the hedge fund industry as a marketer, risk manager and assistant portfolio manager at Goldstein Capital.

Mr. Daskin has obtained his CFA charter and CFP® designation in order to provide better service to his clients.
